Connection setup
Here are the ways of configuring your PC network connection to conect i-MAX internet:
- Automatic setup (Windows XP only)
- Manual setup (Windows XP)
- Manual setup (Windows Vista)
Automatic setup (Windows XP only)
Programme i-MAX client enables you to connect to i-MAX internet with ease, it makes PPPoE connection settings automatically opposite to make it manually as described in connection setup.
How to use program?
2. Run the application;
3. Fill the fields of Username (Subscriber number, Agreement number) and Password;
4. Using context menu by clicking right click on mouse while staying with mouse pointer on program icon u can choose options for programme;
5. Tick the box “Connect when windows starts”;
6. Then click on “x” box;
7. Enjoy with i-MAX internet;

Manual setup (Windows XP)
How do I configure my Windows XP computer if I’m not using a router?
* The following assumes you are running Windows XP.
If you are no longer using a router to authenticate to the network or have yet to set up a new computer to connect to the network, use the following steps to create a PPPoE client and authenticate to the network.
Windows 95/98/2000/ME/NT does not have its own native PPPoE client. (a router can be used instead)
1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and double-click Network and Internet connections.
2. Double-click the Network Connections icon.
4. The New Connection Wizard window will appear, click Next.
5. With “Connect to the Internet” selected, click Next.
6. Select “Set up my connection manually”, click Next.
7. Select “Connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password”, click Next.
8. Enter “i-MAX” in the “ISP Name” box, click Next.
9. Enter your PPPoE username and password, click Next.
10. Check the “Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop” box, click Finish.
11. To authenticate to the network, click Connect.
12. An i-MAX icon will be on your desktop. To connect again, double-click this icon and click Connect.
